Review By Kelsey: Sandra Boynton is one of my favorite children’s authors. Her books are catchy and colorful and Barnyard Dance is no exception. It took a moment for me to get the rhythm of the book down since I felt it needed to be sung like a square dance caller rather than read, but once I had it Olivia loved it. She bobbed up and down with the words and loved to point at all the animals. This book definitely caught her attention. I would not recommend this as a bed time book as it is very upbeat and even a pre-toddler will want to dance along. After reading it to Olivia twice she wanted to keep looking at the pictures and has been her go to book for a week now. This is one to add to your collection that will last from infant to toddler and beyond.
